Here's some tips you might want to follow about how to handle your fellow webmasters and webmistresses, as well as some other interesting things you need to know how to handle.
  • You don't need permission for anything on the web.
  • It's quite the compliment to see your images on everybody's sites! So go ahead and take them!
  • Save your webprovider's bandwidth by linking to files on other people's sites. Your provider will appreciate it.
  • Don't use a spellchecker, they cannot be trusted! Check your spelling yourself!
  • If YoU wRiTe LiKe ThIs, PeOpLe WiLl LiKe YoU!"
  • Always include lots of adjectives in your title like "awesome," "cool," "ultimate," "best," "excellent," etc.
  • Make sure you always have this warning on your page: "THESE R MY OPINIONS, IF YOU DON'T LIKE THEM I'LL KILL U!"
  • All caps and wanna-be dialects like ghetto, hick, pig latin, and Swedish chef are great!
  • Always reveal your real name, home address, phone number, personal e-mail address, and ISP (if possible) so people can send presents to thank you for giving them the chance to experience your wonderful website!

Images:
This is a very tricky area, so make sure you pay close attention! If nothing else, your site needs pictures, so you better get this all right!

  • The bigger the image, the better! If people have to load your site, they might as well get something nice and huge out of it!
  • Make sure your front page consists of many large, direct-linked images.
  • Use the lowest compression possible for JPEGs so you save on space, or use the highest compression for quality images. Either way, your visitors win!

HTML:
Obviously, a site could not exist without HTML! So don't screw it up!

  • Never use alt, height, and width tags; they just take up valuable bits in your HTML files.
  • Make sure your HTML is compatible with the more advanced browsers like Linux and AOL, and that it doesn't look too bad on lower quality browsers like MSIE and Netscape.
  • Use plenty of pop-up scripts for welcomes, reminders, and farewells. It's very friendly and makes your visitors feel right at home!
  • Have a script so people can input their name. There's no thrill quite like seeing your name on someone else's site!
  • Don't actually test your Javascripts! Your visitors want something to challenge them, so leave it broken! That way, they have the excitement of testing their intelligence trying to determine what part of the code you screwed up!
  • Frames are a must-have. Be sure that all links open within the frame so it's easier for visitors to return to your site. Have multiple layers of frames, if possible. Then, when it crashes people's browsers, they will be awed at your abilities! It's quite an accomplishment to be able to crash someone's browser!
  • It's fun to embed executable files in your page.
  • Make sure you have a loud midi that loops over and over and cannot be turned off. It's even better if it's not from Sailormoon!
  • Animated .gifs are great for backgrounds.
  • Always use .art, .bmp, .png, and .psp formats for images.
  • Create your HTML in Microsoft Word, that's the best!

Information:
Information has some place in a site, but don't worry too much about this one. Many facts get screwed up, so we'll set the record straight!

  • In the Japanese version, the Sailor Scouts are called "The Sailor Senchi" (or was it Senshe?)
