Petz "What's
with all these WPRs popping up while I'm gone?!
They're like WEEDS!" -- Petz upon returning
from hiatus
Why is it that out
of nowhere, WPRs are springing up and dying just
as quickly? BAM! there they are then BAM! they're
dead! It's just like a weed, really. Some WPRs
have their roots firmly in the ground and are
sticking around for the long run. It's become a
trend to be a WPR, and almost no one can pull it
off. Take a look at the online Sailormoon
community and look at how much of it revolves
around approval with WPRs, how the WPRs determine
who is popular and who isn't. It's just plain
silly. Most WPRs are the exact same basic thing,
just like a weed. Same structure, same basic
appearance, same annoyance factor. People don't
care to frequent the majority of the WPRs because
they are dead and have nothing new to offer. So
before you decide to turn into a WPR, consider
this: will you just be another weed that will die
as soon as you appear? Will you evolve over time
and thrive, or will you slowly rot?
Here are all the
WPRs we've located and their status:

We did not include
"The Surfer's Guide To Good SM Pages"
because it isn't a WPR, just a clever
links site.
Note: I
say "rip-off" when there's already an
active team with those members and they haven't
given permission to use the same team
